Surviving Vietnam was a deeply personal project for me - as the subject of the documentary was my father. In his own words - Dennis Nickell shares his complete Vietnam story before, during, and perhaps most importantly, after the war. Surviving Vietnam was produced for the sole purpose of helping veterans with post traumatic stress injuries find some peace - and avoid the suicidal reality that many of their brothers and sisters have succumbed to.
